A world leader in parking and individual mobility and a local player, INDIGO helps local authorities meet the challenges of managing the flow of people and goods.
The question of quality of life is at the heart of the issues facing urban centers and medium-sized cities. For the benefit of residents and sustainable economic development, they are implementing active policies to relieve congestion in city centers, improve air quality and share public spaces more equitably.
INDIGO accompanies these transformations. We put our experience, expertise and innovative vision to work for local communities. The objective? Offer towns and cities operational responses to the need for vehicle rotation in city centers, urban redevelopment and the development of local urban services.
INDIGO reinvents spaces for calm and dynamic urban centers.
Public health concerns, changing usage patterns and the logistical needs associated with the rise of e-commerce are transforming habits in terms of the movement of goods and people. They are also challenging cities to regulate urban travel.
In the city, parking and on-street flow control make traffic flow more smoothly and provide better links between different forms of mobility. For residents, it promotes freedom of movement, thanks in particular to digital solutions. Above all, it also enables them to move around a city that is more accessible and more pleasant to live in.
The development of public spaces and new restrictions on the use of cars in cities have led to a growing need for regulation and control. We advise and support local authorities in the management of on-street parking, providing them with tools to steer their mobility strategy and technologies to continuously improve the customer experience, in particular through the Indigo Neo digital solution.
At INDIGO, we are deeply convinced that infrastructure and on-street parking have an essential role to play in the quest for fluid, low-carbon individual mobility. This dynamic vision of parking leads us to reinvent our infrastructures to create spaces for new services.
We open up and transform underground car parks in city centers into multifunctional spaces, capable of hosting urban logistics hubs and thus promoting low-carbon delivery.
In keeping with the concept of the “15-minute city”, where essential services are accessible on foot or by bike in less than 15 minutes, the infrastructures can also offer local services to residents: electric charging stations, click & collect areas, storage solutions…
Electric vehicles are expected to account for 15-20% of the vehicle fleet by 2030*. This implies an adaptation of the recharging offer, giving underground infrastructures a key role in city centers. With 10,380 charging points for electric cars in INDIGO car parks, we offer the leading network in the urban environment.
We also support intermodality and the deployment of soft mobility. From bicycle parks in INDIGO car parks to bike shelters with access control on-street, our Cycloparks offer nearly 6,800 bicycle spaces in over 55 towns and cities. INDIGO also supports the growth of soft mobility via Smovengo, of which it is a shareholder. With a fleet of 20,000 bicycles in the field, Smovengo is the French operator of one of the world’s largest self-service bicycle networks: Vélib.
Freeing up space, facilitating the flow of people and goods, supporting soft mobility… INDIGO works to make our regions more accessible, sustainable and dynamic.
