In partnership with Corsalis, a real estate operator dedicated to urban distribution, INDIGO has transformed over 2,000 m² of space previously dedicated to parking into an Urban Logistics Space (ULS): the Pressoir de Bercy. This development is part of an approach designed to support last-mile logistics while reducing its environmental impact, thus contributing to a calmer, more sustainable city.
Located in the 12ᵉ arrondissement of Paris, just 3 kilometers from Place de la Nation and 100 meters from the quays of Bercy, the Pressoir de Bercy has direct access to the boulevard périphérique. This privileged position enables it to efficiently serve over 1.5 million inhabitants and 5,500 points of sale, optimizing the flow of goods to the heart of the capital.
Owned by INDIGO, the site has been completely redesigned to meet the needs of urban logistics players. It includes a reception area, an activity area, a dispatch area, as well as social premises and charging stations for electric vehicles. It also benefits from spaces entirely dedicated to storage.
In the face of new urban challenges, INDIGO is supporting these transitions by adapting its infrastructures to the new standards of urban logistics. We are continuing to develop this ULS model, with the ambition of extending the concept to other major French and European cities. The aim: to build more resilient, human and sustainable cities.
The Pressoir de Bercy is the first building block in an ambitious pilot project to develop over 20,000 m² of urban logistics space in three car parks in central Paris.
