Le Livre sous la Place – Literary café

For more than 10 years, INDIGO has supported the City of Nancy’s “Le Livre sur la place” literary fair, organizing an annual meeting with an author from the new literary season, under the name “Le Livre sous la place”.

On a Saturday morning, the mobility center in the Charles III parking lot was transformed into a literary café, offering book-signing sessions in a convivial atmosphere. Numerous authors took part, including Nicolas BEUGLET, Mazarine PINGEOT, Lorraine FOUCHET, Jim FERGUS, Miguel Bonnefoy, Juliette ARNAUD, Agnès LEDIG, Valentine GOBY, Serge JONCOUR, Daniel PICOULY and David FOENKINOS.

This initiative aims to become part of the city’s cultural life, to cultivate a taste for reading among visitors and to offer an original experience, combining everyday life and culture, by bringing books and literary discussion into an environment open to all.

In addition, the INDIGO Foundation supports a number of Livre sur la place initiatives aimed at audiences who have difficulty or are far removed from reading.
