With the École des Ingénieurs de la Ville de Paris, we combine theory and practice to imagine the infrastructures of tomorrow, with a view to meeting the environmental and societal challenges facing cities.
Our aim is to stimulate in-depth, innovative thinking on the many issues facing cities and their inhabitants today.
Sébastien Fraisse
President of the Executive Board, INDIGO
INDIGO and the École des Ingénieurs de la Ville de Paris (EIVP) have combined their expertise to create a teaching and research chair (IUC) dedicated to urban infrastructures with a focus on the circular economy.
This initiative aims to develop world-class training and research, focusing on the evolution of parking infrastructures and their current and future uses.
New urban logistics, transformation of parking spaces, multimodality, the rise of low-carbon mobility, city accessibility… The IUC Chair explores the challenges of tomorrow’s urban planning.
Built around a common desire to share knowledge and skills, it offers a unique approach within the current research ecosystem. It combines the academic excellence of a leading urban engineering school with INDIGO’s operational expertise and vision of the transformations taking place in the industry.
Under the direction of Youssef Diab, University Professor and Head of EIVP Chairs, it is closely linked to EIVP’s “urban engineering” specialization.
Thanks to its interdisciplinary nature, this Chair will enable us to reflect on all the facets of the new urban engineering approach supported by our establishment.
