Indigo Group S.A. (the “Company”) presents consolidated financial, operational, social and environmental data in a variety of formats and scopes as part of its communications, including its website www.indigo-group.com. These differences, motivated by the desire to provide a fuller picture of the activities of the INDIGO Group (the “Group”), are linked in particular to the existence of joint ventures in which the Group holds a significant share of the capital equal to at most 50%, but over which it does not exercise exclusive control, as in Switzerland (with Parking du Centre – Flon S.A. – formerly known as Indigo Suisse S.A.). The companies Smovengo S.A.S and ParcBrux, historically held at 40.49% and 50%, will now be fully consolidated following their full acquisition during 2024.
This note summarizes how this subject is dealt with in the Group’s various communications media. For further details, please refer to the relevant documents, and in particular to the notes to the consolidated financial statements and the sustainability report.
Financial data
The Group’s statutory consolidated financial statements are prepared in accordance with IFRS, with joint ventures accounted for using the equity method. In order to complement these data with a more economic view of the Group’s substance, the Company also discloses certain financial data (such as sales, EBITDA or net debt) in a format known as “Global Proportionate”, defined as IFRS consolidated data adjusted for the Group’s share of the contribution of its activities in joint ventures, as if the latter were proportionately consolidated.
Operational data
The Group presents a certain amount of operational data (such as the number of countries and cities in which it operates, or the number of parking spaces and car parks it manages) on the basis of a global view that includes all data relating to joint ventures, as if they were fully consolidated and not accounted for by the equity or proportionate consolidation methods. The data concerned cannot easily be reduced to the Group’s share in these joint ventures.
Social data
The workforce is accounted for in its entirety, based on a global view that includes all data relating to joint ventures. As indicated in the notes to the Company’s consolidated financial statements and in the sustainability report, the Group’s total workforce at December 31, 2024 was 10,201. The Sustainability Report includes various other social data, specifying the scope of each if different from that indicated above.
Environmental data
The scope of environmental reporting covers all controlled subsidiaries of the Group’s Parking Division, i.e. a total of 10 countries: Andorra, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Spain, France, Luxembourg, Poland and Switzerland.
