As a global leader, the Group relies on its high standards and recognized expertise to offer solutions tailored to specific local needs. As a true partner to cities, INDIGO is a key player in the local economic and social network and is committed to working closely with urban dwellers.
From the management of self-service bicycles and on-street parking to the operation and management of our car parks, our activities are a source of local employment. The construction and maintenance of our infrastructure also requires the involvement of companies – usually local ones. Other services such as vehicle washing and maintenance also generate local jobs.
As a partner to cities, local authorities, hospitals and universities, INDIGO is an integral part of the local economic and social network. The INDIGO Foundation is a further testament to our local roots, supporting 25 community projects in 4 countries and 19 cities and towns in 2023.
New sharing of public spaces, increased need for local services, decongestion of city centers… managing the flow of people and goods is a major challenge for local authorities today. In this context, we are convinced that parking is a key element in the urban ecosystem. It is one of the elements in the urban mobility chain and contributes to the attractiveness of city centers, helping to maintain businesses and jobs.
By welcoming new services (Cyclopark, electric recharging service) or new spaces (storage, urban logistics), our infrastructures also help make city centers more fluid, while promoting low-carbon mobility.
Created in late 2022, the INDIGO Foundation works for more inclusive and sustainable cities by supporting projects of general interest.
