Urban Logistics is an important and growing theme in the mobility of cities, generating a significant impact on traffic, noise and pollution. In order to meet these challenges, INDIGO is leading a strategy of developing services and urban logistics spaces within its car parks, whose location in hypercentres is a real asset to implement new uses for local authorities, companies and citizens.
The objective is to contribute to the fluidity of urban travel, limit pollution and have a positive impact on the city’s economic activity. INDIGO adapts its spaces and establishes strategic partnerships with key players in urban logistics.
Parcel reception, storage or delivery areas, electric charging points and dedicated parking spaces are among the concrete illustrations of this vision.
This approach is in line with the vision of the Parking of the future developed by INDIGO and Dominique Perrault Architecture: a sustainable space, open and interconnected with its environment.
Located in the heart of the towns and cities with spaces that are convenient for storage and traffic flows, the location and configuration of INDIGO car parks are key assets in the development of new urban logistics services. Our partnerships with Amazon, Rexel and Mon-marche.fr are concrete illustrations of possible implementations, in line with our social and environmental objectives.
